”29,029 feet climbed. 30 miles covered. 33 hours. One red hat!

Last weekend I achieved a goal I’ve been working towards for TWO YEARS! I participated in an endurance event where you hike the equivalent elevation of Mt. Everest which is 29,029 feet. You have 36 hours to do it. You hike up, ride the gondola down, and repeat until you reach 29,029 feet.
This is not a race. It’s about you vs you. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but just like CrossFit, the camaraderie and support from the other participants pushed me, lifted me, and inspired me to keep going. It’s so cool to be surrounded by like minded people who want for you to succeed.
I will forever be inspired by the grit, determination, and camaraderie of the other 250 participants who pushed themselves far beyond what they thought was possible to do something so incredible.
