Let’s talk about personal coaching and remote programming. Enter Coach Sandra! When you need an expert who is passionate about strength training and achieving goals while navigating the various seasons of life, call Sandra! I’m a regular at SoChac, but this winter I had to travel for work for 8 weeks straight.
I didn’t want to lose too much strength, and I also only had a hotel gym to work with. 😳 Sandra was not fazed. This is remote programming: a schedule of workouts that can be executed wherever you are, on your schedule, with Sandra advising from wherever she is. Sandra came up with a weekly plan that worked both my bigger muscle groups and also my accessory muscles. I really didn’t even know how much I needed this focused strength cycle!
I kept a log of my workouts, how I felt during and after, and my progress. Get this: she read it! And used it to build my programming each week. This is no cookie-cutter workout that you just power through. We had regular check-ins, and whenever I had questions or needs, she was there—a text, a call, or an email away. I genuinely had a coach—someone challenging me, cheering me on, and adapting as she noted progress and changes.
When I got back to town and my regular gym & community, I was poised for success and actually stronger in my Olympic lifts. I also avoided injury as I got back to the more dynamic training because of her workouts.
